Pure madness!!! ‘Junoon’ they say…

IPL is money, business, extravagance, entertainment and some CRICKET… The madness starts today. This, a month plus extended tournament aims at entertaining the cricket crowd all around the globe. The involvement of Indian film stars adds glamour to the tournament.

Indian Premier League (Season II) is happening not in India but in South Africa. It’s quite shocking. How can IPL not happen in India? The ongoing elections to the Lok Sabha (Central Govt.) in India has forbidden IPL to happen in India.

How is election related to conducting IPL in India?
The Govt. of India (some of the State Govt. s in India) is not ready to take extra tension during the time of elections. The govt has to allocate a good percent of their police and other security forces on the task to maintain peace and harmony through out the country for the smooth run of elections. Same time the govt is not in a position to divert their interest towards the conducting IPL, providing security and ensuring a safe tournament. Security of players, tourists, audience and indispensable guests would be at risk.

Why security reasons are highlighted?
The main blow came from the terrorist attack on SriLankan players during their tour to Pakistan. This incident affected IPL very badly. As players from different countries participate in this mega grand show, their safety is to be guaranteed. Analysing on all these, the Indian Govt hesitated to sanction the tournament.

It was never a reason for the IPL/BCCI authorities. Examining the left with options, the money flooded tournament was then shifted to SA without any major changes in dates scheduled. The curtain rises today at Cape Town.

Is Varun Gandhi your choice??

Definitely not. Animal rights activist, Menaka Gandhi was unknown of the fact that she was taming an animal in her own house.
A young leader like Varun Gandhi should possess all that right virtues to lead and serve our nation. He should understand the commitment he has towards his people and country. Politics is not just winning votes but to serve and represent people. Instead, the young Gandhi was at the back injecting hatred and dividing people on the grounds of religion. Despite being well educated he spat poison during a speech just for the sake of getting votes. These politicians are very keen at taking the common people for a ride, fooling them for their personal benefits. The new trend of attaining publicity and fame is by doing wrong. To preach and perform wrong thoughts that could never be accepted. Even after performing such a disgraceful act, he is supported by his fellow followers and other party members. Creating such an issue, a leader manages to seek national attention, yes the helping hand coming from media exaggerating the issue. No time, without contributing anything good towards the society he gains limelight. Politicians are very sure that the judicial system could never hamper their eminence. Instead of serving people, they push them into miseries of communal wars overflowing hatred. Another example would be that of Raj Thackeray and the Mumbai incident.
